Louisiana-Pacific represents one facet of the future of industry in Thomasville.
Located in the Clarke County Industrial Park just south of Thomasville - The Louisiana-Pacific facility is nearing completion. The facility is expected to employ more than 100 people and should be completing the hiring process around November 1, 2007.
When it opens for business near the end of this year, the plant will be one of the largest in North America, producing 750 million square feet of oriented strand board per year.
